ROBERT JEFFORD BSc (Hons) MTh DD
Western Master Teacher
Eastern Master Teacher
Dr Robert Jefford is probably the most qualified authority on Reiki outside of Japan both in his academic expertise about Reiki and in his extensive experience with Reiki.
I began my Eastern training in Japan at the age of seven so to say Reiki has been a fundamental element in my life would be an understatement. My Shoden took nine years to complete and I continued on the 'fast track!'
One of my teachers, being a Meijin, gave me hell. I needed it. If you think dry bathing is easy try standing under an ice cold waterfall for an hour! I worked. I had to know my stuff inside out and back to front and not just the theory. Lip service earned you a thick ear! So I learned to 'walk the talk'.
Rest assured, I don't beat my students but I do expect them to work hard. Like My Master I am a passionate and diligent student, albeit a little unorthodox. I am still learning.
My close friends have described me as 'a walking, talking encyclopedia of Reiki'. Truth matters. Lineage matters. Fear and confrontation are born out of ignorance.
I continue to teach both Eastern and Western Reiki. I regard both as equally valid and important.
I am also a martial artist (as was Usui). I hold Senior Dan grades in Judo and Karate. I have also studied Aikido and Kendo with Japan's finest martial artists.
A Martial Arts and Reiki Shihan my unique background and training enables me to offer courses and seminars that few other masters can equal or match.
TONY NOADES
Western Master Teacher
Eastern Shinpiden
I've been a Reiki student since 1992; I completed my Western 1, 2, 3a and 3b over a sixteen year period and my Eastern training is ongoing. I feel now that I am just beginning to scratch the Reiki surface. I've never been very fond of the "wet lick in the ear" branches of Reiki. If I want a cuddle and someone to tell me I'm a great lad, I'll go and see my mum. I don't want a spiritual feather to stick in life's cap! I want practical spiritual life tools that I can apply to my life and get results. This is what Reiki is for me, an amazing, practical life tool. It's very sacred and when taught and practiced correctly brings a profound compassion, humility and grace for oneself and others.
SUKI CALDER
Western Master Teacher
Eastern Shinpiden
I first heard about, and started learning about, Reiki in 2001 and have now completed my Western 1, 2, 3a and 3b training. My Eastern training and research is ongoing. I am a teacher by profession and have always believed that if you're going to do something do it properly; research, learn and practice. Look for the best, find the truth and work hard at it - whatever it is. This very much applies to Reiki learning at this moment in time, it took some false starts and scary moments to find my teacher, the best there is. I have found that with Reiki in my life I have the healing tool that most supports my complementary view on health; the results with no-nonsense, pure Reiki Energy are truly incredible.
